Representing the Karaka, Amber has come through to be crowned Miss World New Zealand 2003 and will go on to represent New Zealand at the Miss International finals to be held in the Tokyo, Japan 8th October 2003.

"Hello I am Amber Peebles.
I am 20 years of age and are part of
a family of 10. Karaka is our family home and the Sunday roast is a thing to
behold! I enjoy a challenge and anything with a creative twist.
Fashion and Fashion Design are a particular passion I have. Both have been very
fulfilling, as to create something different and meet and get to know many
other creative people really broadens my horizons.
My ambition is to achieve success in fashion design, publish my own fashion
magazine and to always be happy and comfortable with who I am.
I firmly believe in the power of positive thinking. In my opinion positive thinking and having the right attitude is the cornerstone to achieving personal goals in life."

Sports: Kick-boxing, swimming and volleyball.

award for Drama & Art. At college Ball was awarded best
dressed in self made and designed gown.
Amber looks forward to her role of Miss World NZ and feels privileged to represent New Zealand.
